Praise in Motion is a dance ministry team focused on worship-based performing. We encourage our dancers to actively pursue a life that reflects more of God. There will be times when team devotions and/or prayer will be included. We want our dancers to grow in their faith as well as learn to reach other’s faith through the arts. In addition to being punctual to scheduling and communicating with your instructor(s), below describes six character traits we feel are important to embrace and encourage in PIM.
P assion
We encourage passionate devotion to your commitment to God and in all you do to give Him glory. (Hebrews 12:1-2; Philippians 3:14; 1 Corinthians 9:24)
R espect
We encourage respect for God, others, and yourself. (1 Peter 2:17, 3:15; Ephesians 4:15)
A ccountability
We encourage a team atmosphere that uplifts each other. This includes being accountable to practices, your dedication to the team, and your relationship with God. (Proverbs 27:17; Romans 14:19)
I ntegrity
We encourage honest living and communication. (Psalm 41:12; Titus 2:7)
S ervice
We encourage taking initiative in serving others, both in dance and in daily tasks. (Galatians 5:13-14)
E mpowerment
We seek to empower by providing opportunities for others to grow and use both faith and dance to influence
their community. (Ephesians 4:12-13)
Rehearsals/Performances:
We will be learning various routines throughout the year to perform. For choreography purposes, we ask that PIM dancers inform the director (via Remind App) if for any reason you are unable to perform at least TWO WEEKS prior to a scheduled performance/event. This helps us make any necessary changes for the team.

One Time Costume Fee TBA
Schedule PIM classes are held on Fridays.
